• Line – The line is what is used to determine who you want to wager on and how much you’ll be paid on your wager.

• Longshot – A longshot is a big underdog who shouldn’t win, but pays amazing odds if they do. A long shot is like betting on absolute poker to make a big comeback in the poker industry.

• Off The Board – Off the board means you can’t wager on the event anymore.

• Pickem – Pickem or pick is used to describe a bet where no one is favorite and you can choose between either or at the same odds.

• Press – When you press it means you’re betting more then you generally would for whatever reasons.

• Rundown – A rundown is when the line has been changed or updated from what it was before.

• Stop-N-Go – A stop-n-go is when a racer is blacked flag and needs to stop for a certain amount of time for a penalty in the pits before continuing the race.
